Havering Business Awards 2015

The Havering Business Awards celebrated the success of the local business community recently. Pinney Talfourd were shortlisted for the Customer Care Award.
The Havering Business Awards took place at CEME Conference Centre on Friday 16 October to celebrate the success of the local business community.

36 businesses in Havering were shortlisted for 12 awards and they gathered at the glittering event hosted by impressionist and comedienne Francine Lewis to hear the results amongst hundreds of their fellow colleagues.

Pinney Talfourd was shortlisted for the Customer Care Award alongside Adsec Group and CEME. It was a hard fought battle and we would like to congratulate CEME for pipping us to the post and taking away the trophy.

Councillor Robert Benham, Cabinet Member for Environment, said: “We had some very good finalists and the judges had a very hard job choosing a winner in each category this year. I want to thank our sponsors for making this happen, it was a great night and it couldn’t have gone ahead without their help. It’s great that Havering businesses see the value in the awards and want to support each other.”

It was also announced that Martin Bumpus, Chair of Judges, is retiring and he received an award for his hard work and dedication to the awards since they began eleven years ago. As a Senior Commercial Manager at Lloyds Bank, he has worked with Pinney Talfourd on many occasions and we would like to wish him all the best for the future.
