Charity Danceathon in Support of SNAP

Pinney Talfourd Solicitors will soon be embarking on a truly unique fundraising event for our Charity of the Year, SNAP (Special Needs and Parents) – a 24-hour Danceathon!

From 12 noon on Saturday 21^st October, three of our solicitors – Catherine Loadman, Sue Nash and Lucy Birch – will be dancing non-stop for 24 hours in our Upminster office, each bopping away without any sleeping breaks until 12 noon on Sunday 22^nd October.

Other members of staff, friends and family have also pledged to join the threesome for a boogie throughout the days and night, keeping their spirits up during the periods when they no doubt will be aching for a coffee and a power nap!

It made perfect sense for Pinney Talfourd to raise money for SNAP in a ‘different’ way – ever since the charity’s inception in 1994, they have been working hard to create a welcoming and diverse environment with unrivalled support for parents with special-needs children.

The entire 24-hour event will be live-streamed on our Facebook page, giving everybody the opportunity to cheer the ladies on in their endeavours. For those who want to get involved further, we are running a JustGiving fundraising page – people can donate £5 and choose a song to be played during the allocated ‘Pinney Playlist Picks’ hours throughout the event! We have set ourselves a mammoth fundraising target of £1,500, so all donations and words of encouragement for Catherine, Lucy and Sue will be gratefully received – this challenge is going to be no mean feat!
