Pinney Talfourd raises £8,831 for Kids Inspire

Pinney Talfourd is proud to have partnered with Kids Inspire for the last year. Over the course of the year our staff have taken part in numerous fundraising events, raising a fantastic £8,831 for the charity.

Kids Inspire

Kids Inspire provide mental health, emotional wellbeing and trauma recovery support for children, young people and their families in Essex. They provide a range of therapeutic and community activities and their mission is to ensure that all children in the UK receive specialist support to become healthy adults who lead complete and fulfilling lives.

Kids Inspire has made a difference to the lives of over 10,000 young people since it was founded in 2007. For our team, it has been a pleasure to be a small part of the charity’s journey.

Fundraising

Our staff managed to raise money through a variety of fundraising activities over the course of the year through bake-sales, quizzes and our monthly dress down day donations.

The company’s charity committee hosted a Casino Night for clients, which saw our Upminster office transformed into a scene that would not have looked out of place in Monte Carlo. With the support of our clients and local businesses who sponsored the event, we raised a total of £1,120.

In December 2022, our annual Charity Christmas Concert made a triumphant return, raising £1,823 for Kids Inspire.

The standout moment of the year was when six of our solicitors took to (or more accurately fell from) the sky for the Pinney Talfourd Sky Diving Challenge. A total of £2,289 was raised on the day, and no solicitors were lost in the process.

“We have had a fantastic year supporting Kid’s Inspire as our charity for 2022/2023. We have held a number of fundraising events, including dress down days, bake sales, sweepstakes and hosted a really fun Casino night. I am so proud to say that we raised £8,831 for the charity, a big part of that total was thanks to six of our very brave colleagues who jumped out of a plane at 15,000 feet, raising nearly £3,000 in the process. I would like to thank the charity committee members and all the staff at Pinney Talfourd and their family and friends and our clients and contacts who have all contributed to raising funds for such a worthy cause.”
