£3m Estate Probate with Trust Statements
Successfully obtained a Grant of Probate ‘on credit’ regarding an estate was valued in excess of £3m, including preparing supplementary statements of trust to accompany the application to HMRC.
£10m Estate Probate with Tax Bridging Loan
Obtained a Grant of Probate regarding an estate worth in excess of £10m that comprised mostly of shares and VCTs and additionally facilitating a bridging loan for the inheritance tax liability.
Probate for Foreign Intestate Estate (Nigeria)
Was successful in a Grant of Probate application in a matter where the deceased was domiciled in a foreign jurisdiction (Nigeria), who also died intestate.
Charitable Estate Planning
Worked with a client to establish a philanthropic plan within their estate, which included drafting a Will and additional Letter of Wishes, allocating a portion of their estate to various charities.
Business Will & Power of Attorney
Assisted a small business owner in drafting a Will that included specific provisions for the business’s continuity and a Lasting Power of Attorney to appoint a trusted colleague to manage business operations if they were to become incapacitated.
