Formed in 2007, the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP) promotes best practice by vetting individual barristers and law firms and other organisations to ensure they have the requisite expertise in leasehold enfranchisement.
Membership of ALEP acts as a badge of assurance so that leaseholder and freeholder clients can be confident that they are employing professionals with the right level of expertise in handling potentially complex transactions.

Havering Association for People with Disabilities provides a broad range of services and activities for people with physical and sensory additional needs in the London Borough of Havering. This is with the objective of improving their quality of life. Promoting independence, H.A.D.’s aim is to meet physical, emotional, and recreational needs.

Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch (QTH) is the producing theatre serving Outer East London & South Essex, with a catchment area of 1 million+ people. As a community hub, over 220,000 people enjoy the programme each year, including the best in home grown theatre, visiting live entertainment and inspiring community projects.

Saint Francis Hospice specialises in providing care for any person, from any faith or cultural background, who have been diagnosed with a serious illness who are living in Havering, Brentwood, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge or West Essex. Saint Francis Hospice offers experienced, compassionate advice and support.
Pinney Talfourd has had the privilege to work with the hospice on a number of initiatives including providing free will seminars, staff support and training, nominating the charity as our charity of the year and providing a free helpline to our private client partner, Matthew Edwards.

Many of our private client team and proud to be STEP accredited. STEP is a global professional body, comprising lawyers, accountants, trustees and other practitioners that help families plan for their futures.
The Association of Lifetime Lawyers was founded in 1996 to make sure that when people are vulnerable, they have access to a legal professional with the skills and experience to help.
Today, they are a national organisation with over 1,500 members from across the UK and a separate group in the Republic of Ireland. Many of the Pinney Talfourd private client team are Accredited Lifetime Lawyers – one of the most qualified lawyers in the country supporting vulnerable and older people.
The u3a is a thriving mutual self-help educational, creative and leisure activity movement for people no longer in full time employment. There are no obstacles to joining, no qualifications are needed, and no exams are held.
They were formed in Upminster in October 2016 and with the enthusiastic support of the people of Upminster, have grown rapidly to the point where they have over 500 members and some 50+ interest groups.
