As the festive holiday season approaches, Pinney Talfourd is delighted to announce the return of the annual ‘Christmas Carols at the Queen’s’ charity concert.
This heartwarming event will spread joy amongst the community and raise vital funds for two very deserving charities – Parkinsons UK, Pinney Talfourd’s 2023/24 charity of the year, and the Queen’s Theatre Charitable Trust.
The concert will take place on Monday 4th December at 11 am at the Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch and promises to be an unforgettable event of music, festive cheer and goodwill to all involved.
A choir will lead the concert accompanied by the children from Benhurst Primary School with appearances also from the Pinney Talfourd choir.
The charity Christmas concert has become a cherished tradition, bringing together the local community in the spirit of giving and celebration. This event not only provides the opportunity for families and friends to enjoy (there’s no age limit to attend), but also serves as a vital fundraiser to support Pinney Talfourd’s charitable initiatives throughout the year.
“We are delighted to once again organise the Christmas charity concert at the Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch. Each year our marketing department work exceptionally hard to put on this event. As a firm, we believe in supporting our community as much as possible and this is our way of giving something back whilst raising vital funds for those in need, especially at this time of year when we encourage ‘togetherness’.
She continued:
“Each year we aim to make the concert bigger and better, beating our previous fundraising target. We would like to thank everyone who gets involved from the choir and children of Benhurst Primary School to the Queen’s Theatre Staff, our vey own team, those who donate raffle prizes, advertisers in the show guide, those who promote the event and many more – and of course including visitors – thank you”.
There will be plenty of fundraising opportunities on the day including donating via the collection tins, purchase raffle tickets, buying a show guide or advertising in show guide itself.
There will also be a mini-Christmas market where visitors can purchase some festive gifts. Teas, coffees, mince pies and cakes will be available at the end of the show courtesy of Pinney Talfourd.
If you would like to advertise in the show guide, donate a raffle prize or have a stall on the day, please email marketing@pinneytalfourd.co.uk
Tickets are free and can be purchased via the Queen’s Theatre Online Box Office or by calling 01708 443 333. Whilst tickets are free, a minimum £2 donation will be greatly appreciated in Pinney Talfourd’s effort to raise over £3,000 on the day. Any monies raised will be split equally between the two charities.
