New Litigation Partner at Pinney Talfourd LLP

We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Partner at Pinney Talfourd LLP.  Nick Hatchett is a renowned commercial litigation specialist and was appointed a Partner on 1st November 2019.

Nick joined the firm in 2018 and leads the commercial litigation team within the Commercial Department, based in Brentwood.

Practising law for over 30 years, Nick is well known in business circles as a leading litigator, commanding respect amongst his legal colleagues. Since joining the firm, he has proved that he is worthy of his new title, attracting major clients and continuously achieving over and above expectations. We are delighted to have him join the Partnership table.

Prior to joining Pinney Talfourd, Nick practised in the field of commercial litigation with a leading London law firm for around 18 years before bringing his expertise to Essex. He quickly became a formidable force in his field, prompting Legal 500 UK to acknowledge him in both 2018 and 2019 as a ‘Leading Individual’ for Commercial Litigation.

As well as this badge of honour, the Legal 500 UK described him as a “knowledgeable, approachable and a delight to work with”, and who “embodies every quality of a good litigator”.  In previous years they have written that he “manages contentious situations very well” and offers “invaluable advice in dealing with disputes”.

Nick is a Member of CLA (Commercial Litigation Association). His expertise covers contract disputes, insolvency, debt recovery and asset tracing, and shareholder / partnership disputes as well as professional negligence and commercial property litigation matters.
