On Sunday 16th April, six brave Pinney Talfourd solicitors chose to jump out of a perfectly good plane to raise money for charity. The skydive took place at the North London Skydive School in Cambridge and was organised by Jess Newton, Solicitor, within the private client team.
The six skydivers consisted of Shevonne Weir, Stephanie Leszman, Lucy Nicholson, Joshua De Luna, Oliver-James Topping and Partner, Matthew Edwards who was nominated by his very own private client team.
All six decided to jump from 15,000ft instead of the original 10,000ft planned, landing safely back down to earth.
Their combined efforts helped to raise a total of £2,289 for Pinney Talfourd’s charity of the year, Kids Inspire, a charity the Pinney Talfourd have been raising vitals funds for from 2022 – 2023.
“I am so proud of my brave colleagues for jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet to raise much needed funds for our charity of the year Kids Inspire. The sponsorship raised far exceeded our expectations and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who as donated.”
“We are delighted that Pinney Talfourd have chosen to support Kids Inspire as their charity of the year this year. This skydive has been just one of many fundraising activities and challenges that the adventurous team have embarked on across the year. Funds raised by the team will go towards specialist services for young people, and their families, who have experienced trauma or mental health issues. The cost of living and the impact post pandemic have caused a significant rise in demand for help and a stretch on our services. Support from this corporate partnership helps us to reach more children and young people, and for that we are grateful. Well done to all involved.”
