Pinney Talfourd Sponsors the Havering Business Showcase

Havering Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, hosted the Havering Business Showcase on the evening of Monday 1 October 2018.

Following from the successful launch in 2017, the Showcase returned even bigger and better than before. The event had something for all businesses in and around Havering, whether small, medium or large, including over 30 exhibitors and an abundance of networking opportunities. 

The event was opened by the Mayor of Havering, Cllr Dilip Patel who welcomed visitors and handed over to the host of the evening, Chris Daems of Cervello Financial Planning. Andrew Blake-Herbert, Chief Executive of Havering Council, also joined the stage to talk about the future of business in Havering and some exciting partnerships in the pipeline.

Following this, over 200 guests met with 30 exhibitors throughout the eveing to discuss business opportunities and share best practice.

Pinney Talfourd were proud to sponsor the event once again this year alongside Cervello, Haines Watts, Metro Bank, Havering College and it’s media partner Time FM and provided a prize for the registration draw which also included a one-year membership of the Chamber. Membership to the Chamber comes with many benefits for local businesses including training opportunities and business updates. Most importantly it opens up channels of communication and networking opportunities with hundreds of fellow businesses for both supplier and client opportunities. Find out more on the HCCI website.

Another exciting appearance at the Showcase was the Export Hub Bus from the International Department of Trade. Many visitors took the opportunity to gather expert advice and get signposts to start considering exporting their goods and serviecs abroad.
