Rajinder ‘s expertise covers a broad range of contentious probate cases. She is an experienced contentious lawyer handling a wide range of court applications including Inheritance Act disputes (including for children and those in blended families); applications to remove and or replace Executors/administrators; disputes in relation to Trusts and those between beneficiaries and trustees, claims by cohabitees, proprietary estoppel claims, Trust disputes, breach of fiduciary duties by Personal Representatives of an Estate, and those under the intestacy rules.

Acting for a client who lost his partner and home and recovered a lump sum to enable him to start again in his mid 50s.

Acting for clients challenging financial abuse of a parent’s monies by another, and recovering them.

Acting for clients whose Wills were challenged on grounds including that of mental capacity, fraudulent calumnity, undue influence, non compliance of the formal requirements to create a Will, and or questioning the deceased’s knowledge and approval of the contents of their Will, and that of fraud.

Acting for minor children on their late father’s Estate where his partner had made a Claim for his house to be transferred to her outright together with a claim for maintenance.

Acted for a client who obtained a Court order to remove his brother as Executor of their late father’s Estate for failing to administer it so that he and their sister could receive their inheritance.
Contested Beneficiary
Acted for a client who was a neighbour and beneficiary of an Estate which was disputed by the Deceased’s niece leading to ultimately withdrawing her claim.
Estate Dispute Resolved with Step-Family
Acted for six adult children who had a claim brought against their late father’s Estate by their step mother and step brother, leading to the failure of it by the latter and a settlement being reached with the step mother.
Recovered Sum After Home Transfer to Second Wife
Acted for client who recovered a substantial lump sum on his late father’s Estate where his home had been transferred to his second wife during his lifetime and at a time of him being of ill health.
